Overview
Screen incoming funds before they enter your private balance.
Hinkal Compliance Gateway screens incoming funds before they enter your private balance.
Users can receive funds from any wallet, exchange or payment provider. Every incoming deposit is screened before entry. Eligible funds automatically move into the private balance, while funds that do not pass screening remain public at the Deposit Address and separate from the private balance.
The sender makes a normal on-chain transfer. They do not need a Hinkal account, connect a wallet to Hinkal or interact with Hinkal smart contracts.
What Compliance Gateway does
Screens every incoming deposit against Chainalysis before it enters the private balance
Automatically moves eligible funds into the private balance
Keeps funds that do not pass screening public and separate from the private balance
Prevents unsolicited deposits, including dusting transactions that do not pass screening, from automatically entering the private balance
Requires no Hinkal integration or change in workflow for the sender
No Hinkal fee for receiving funds through Compliance Gateway
Works through Hinkal Pay and can be integrated directly through the Hinkal API and SDK
Who it is for
PSPs and payment processors
Receive customer, merchant and counterparty funds while screening deposits before they enter the operating balance.
Neobanks and fintechs
Give users Deposit Addresses for receiving stablecoins while applying screening at the point of entry.
Wallets and financial applications
Embed screened Deposit Addresses into an existing product through the Hinkal API or SDK.
Businesses using Hinkal Pay
Receive payments, withdrawals and payouts from clients, exchanges and payment providers directly into a private balance.
The flow
Deposit Address → Screening → Private Balance
The Deposit Address is the entry point. Hinkal screens every incoming deposit before it can enter the private balance.
Funds that pass screening move into the private balance automatically. Funds that do not pass stay public at the Deposit Address.
This means receiving funds does not automatically expose the private balance to unsolicited or high-risk incoming transfers.
