FAQ

Does the recipient need a Hinkal account?

No. For Direct delivery they receive a normal on-chain transfer. For Confidential Settlement they connect the wallet you paid to at Hinkal Pay and the balance is there.

Does a Member need a wallet?

No. Members prepare payouts and review balances, history, and analytics without connecting anything. Only Owners sign.

Who can move funds?

Only the Owner with the organization wallet connected. Every payout, shield, and unshield is signed by that wallet.

What happens to a payout while it waits for approval?

It sits in Pending Payouts with the status Pending. No funds move. An Owner can approve it, which opens the filled in form for signing, or reject it.

Can we pay from the wallet and the private balance in the same run?

Pay from is chosen per payout. A batch runs from one source, and delivery is chosen per row, so one batch can settle some recipients confidentially and others directly.

How many recipients fit in one batch?

Up to 500 rows per CSV file.

Why was a row rejected during validation?

Usually an address that does not match the selected network, an amount below the minimum, an unrecognized token symbol, or a delivery value other than Confidential or Direct. Fix the file and upload it again.

What are the minimum amounts?

0.00001 of a token, 1 USD of value for private transfers, and 20 USD of value for private transfers on Tron.

What is a delivery window?

An option on single payouts, when an Owner pays from the wallet balance with Direct delivery. The payout is submitted now and settles later inside the window you choose, so the timing of the transfer is not tied to the moment of approval.

Can balances be seen by anyone outside the organization?

The confidential balance is held inside the Hinkal smart contract and is not publicly attributable to your wallet. The wallet balance is a normal public balance and behaves like any other address.

What if a transfer leaves funds unclaimed?

They appear as unclaimed on the Dashboard and can be claimed from there.
