# Onboarding

### Sign in

Prime uses Google sign in. Open prime.hinkal.io and choose Sign in with Google. No seed phrase and no password.

The first person to sign in for an organization becomes the Owner. Everyone invited afterwards joins as a Member.

### Connect the wallet

The Owner connects the organization wallet from the header. This wallet is the control layer for the organization:

* It holds the public balance.
* It unlocks the private balance.
* It signs every payout, shield, and unshield.

Members do not connect a wallet. They see the balances recorded on the account and prepare payouts for approval.

### Fund the organization

Two ways to get funds in:

* Send assets to the connected wallet address, then use Shield to move them into the private balance. (see [Single Payouts](/hinkal/hinkal-prime/single-payouts.md) & [Shielding](/hinkal/hinkal-prime/shield-and-unshield.md))
* Use Receive to create a request link and have someone pay you directly into the private balance. (see [Receive](/hinkal/hinkal-pay/receive.md))
