Minting your Access Token

Hinkal is designed to prevent illicit parties from using the protocol. In order to achieve this, before being able to use the rest of Hinkal's functions, users (individuals and organisations) should obtain an 'Access Token' per chain.

  1. If you have on-chain or off-chain attestations from Binance (BAB token), Coinbase, Galxe Passport, zkMe or Authento credentials in your connected wallet, you don’t need to pass KYC (B) again, so you can directly mint the token.

  2. If you don’t have one of the supported credentials, you mint the Hinkal Access Token after passing KYC verification with the Provider of your choice - a process that takes <1 minute. KYC information is stored fragmentally, with no link between wallet and PII, thus your privacy is preserved.

After minting your access token, you are able to use the rest of Hinkal’s functions.
