Minting your Access Token

Hinkal is designed to prevent illicit parties from using the protocol. In order to achieve this, before being able to use the rest of Hinkal's functions, users (individuals and organizations) should obtain an 'Access Token' per chain.
If you have on-chain or off-chain attestations from Binance (BAB token), Coinbase, Galxe Passport, zkMe or Authento credentials in your connected wallet, you don’t need to pass Integrity Check again, so you can directly mint the token.
If you don’t have one of the supported credentials, you mint the Hinkal Access Token after passing KYC verification with the Provider of your choice - a process that takes <1 minute. Information is stored fragmentally, with no link between wallet and PII, thus your control over you on-chain data is preserved.
We currently support Binance and Coinbase attestations, as well as zkMe, Authento, Galxe, and aiPrise as verification methods. Institutions/businesses can pass KYB with Authento or aiPrise.
After successfully passing the Integrity Check, you can mint your Access Token. With Axelar, we have simplified the process and you can mint Access Tokens across all supported chains with a single click.
After minting your access token, you are able to use the rest of Hinkal’s functions.
